Wait… When is Your Birthday???

My BFF is one of a kind. How do I know? Because we have been friends for over 30 years and neither of us can remember each other’s birthday. I know hers is January…. or is it February? She knows mine is in early November. We ALWAYS forget each other’s birthday…. but, it’s OK.

I used to feel horrible when I forgot my BFF’s birthday… but then she’d forget mine… and we would laugh about it. We know we are there for each other at a drop of a hat. We know that when the chips are down and it’s 3am, she will pick up the phone and jump in the car if I needed her. To us, our bond of friendship is stronger than a Hallmark card that arrives on ‘the day’.

The Happy Birthday Wisdom Jar and the Best Friends Wisdom Jar were curated with my BFF in mind. A way to spread some love every day of the year… I figured, ONE of those days would be her birthday!

My wish for everyone is to have someone as kind and forgiving as my friend… and to let yourself off the hook for the small things. Screw the card… they’re getting really expensive anyway…. and make the time you are together worth every second.
