Best Friends and Happy Horses

When life gets busy, work becomes overbearing and you are stuck in a slump, that’s when you need to take a breath and call up your best friend.

I love this picture of my best friend and her ‘hose of a lifetime’. We spent the day riding wide open fields, through the woods and over riverbeds, all the while taking 1,000+ pictures to be sure I’d captured a few keepers. Gotta love digital photography!

Some of my most cherished memories of our friendship come with the sweet smell of nature. Our friendship is an easy one. We can chat often, or it could be months. When we go through periods of our lives when we don’t get to catch up as often, we fall right back together as if no time had passed. That is the type of friendship I wish for you all.
